The Blessing of a Friend

The Lord brought us together,
there’s a bond that we now share.
It’s a blessing we call friendship,
and it means we truly care.
You've been there during times of need,
you’ve shared my dreams and plans.
It’s nice to know that you are there,
if I ever need a hand.
I always enjoy the time we spend,
whenever we're together,
but more than that you are my friend
and in my heart forever.
