True Blue

“True Blue”

I’ve met so many people,
and I believe it’s true.
You’re fortunate to have one friend,
truly blessed if you have two.
You see, Friendship is a special gift,
that can’t be bought or sold.
Given freely without strings attached,
more valuable than gold.
Even rarer is that kind of friend,
the kind I call “True Blue”
The one that stands out from the rest,
the all too precious few…
Not only am I fortunate,
to have had a friend or two.
Far more than that, I’m truly blessed,
with one “True Blue” like you!
