Graduation

Deanna,
Congratulations on Your Graduation

They said “It can’t be done…”

They said “It can’t be done,” and they thought they were right.
I told them, “I’ll do my best,” and that “I’d try with all my might.”
They shook their heads in disbelief, cause I chose not to quit.
That made me pick up my pace, It didn’t slow me down a bit.
They kept on... “It can’t be done,” as each problem came my way.
I told them “Please say nothing... if you’ve nothing good to say.”
I solved each problem one by one, although I must admit,
There were times throughout that day, I thought that I might quit.
But I found to their surprise, mine too, at the end of that long day,
that what they said “could not be done,” I accomplished anyway.
Looking back, I realise now, it was impossible to miss.
cause each time that I had a doubt, I prayed...
“Please help me Lord with this.”

Love,
Stacey
