Mother

Mum,

I’m so very grateful for
having a mother as wonderful as you.
For always being there, and for always understanding.
For always knowing what and what not to say.
You are what all mothers should aspire to be.
You deserve the very best of all that life has to offer.
For all these things, past and present,
for the things that I have forgotten,
and for the things I never knew you did,
I thank you and I love you.
