| Poem/Verse No: 1262 Mother Dear Mum, While growing up, there were many times that no one but you understood me. When faced with some of life’s more difficult challenges, it was you that I chose to consult with. As a young woman, I did not fully understand the reasons behind some of the things that you did, or why you felt so strongly about certain issues. But now as a grown woman with children of my own, I must tell you that I realise what a wonderful Mother you have always been. Your wisdom, insight and caring ways have been and continue to be an important influence in my life, and I want you to know how very much I love and appreciate you. Christine |
