Grandparents

Grandparents are a special gift and a blessing from above
Sent from God in heaven to reflect His perfect love
Created with a gentleness, with warm and caring hearts
And willing arms designed for hugs, truly works of art
Adding just a bit of humour with smiles and affection
Combined with years of wisdom, a creation near perfection
Instilled in them the desire to keep their family together
To keep the peace and grow the love cause families are forever
He told them not to spoil too much, although He knew they would
Pleasing kids with gifts and things each time they knew they could
And when He felt they were complete He sent them on their way
A precious gift from heaven to be with us today
So when we think of you both, we’re as thankful as can be
That God sent you Grandma and Grandpa…
and blessed our family
